FADING OUT

One in the tub
is naked,
wet,
all alone,
enclosed by water.
Your body is too large to fit in
so something escapes,
but you are in
and everything starts to fade.

Submerged,
loneliness surrounds you.
You feel free,
you feel afraid,
you hear yourself,
you are closer to yourself.
We are not so far anymore.

Then, you completely fade out.

  1. It's really nice Jordi and frightening too. Perhaps this is what I really felt when I took the picture.
    Thank you.

  2. Peace, serenety, loneliness that is what one feels when is in the bathtub. You can hear than noisy silence when you are submerged in the water
It´s not frightening if you think about breaking distance and fading in ONE PERSON helped by this pure and elevated sensation of being surrounded by water.
You have to try this in the open sea when the water is calm, you have the hot sun high on you and you close your eyes floating face up, with your arms and legs openned drawing a star.
